D/Law abiding fellows,
I was a govt employee and after suspension against one year conviction in 498A case , my employer has initiated disciplinary proceedings against me for dismissal/removal. Hon'ble High court although has granted me bail but ordered me to pay arrear maintenance that is in lakhs. Previously the same was being deducted from my salary. But at present even I am not receiving subsistence allowance. No other source of income , zero bank balance , no gpf balance. The High Court has granted me bail subjected to the condition to pay the arrear allowances within two weeks. Now I have nothing to sale except my bike that has market value only Rs. 30000/-. Now my circumstances do not allow me to again go to jail and I want to pay arrear maintenance allowances. I am 46 and would like to sale any one parts of my body to pay arrear maintenance allowances. Is it legal? If not then to which authority I should apply for permission to make my action legal? Any other remedy ?

Your situation is indeed unfortunate. I think you can apply to HC for modification of its order of payment of arrears money on the given circumstances.

No alternate left, approach to High court for modification of order. May take help of legal aid center.
