We want to put a commode [toilet) in the house. Do we need to give money to the landlords for putting up a coomode ? Our floor landlord is separate and the the ground floor is seperate.

no . you dont need to pay landlord any thing for installing a commode . however for carrying out renovations in your tenanted premises you need landlord consent as no alterations can be carried out in flat without landlord consent
