Suit for partition and seperate possesion (muslim family)

we legal heirs to our (father died 1975)want to initiate suit for partition and seperate possesion against family members in a undivided residential property bearing our grandfathers name (died 1948)document with us is registerd partition deed executed among family members in 1971 where in said residential property is kept in common among family members
kindly advise guidelines under muslim law
