If alterations/amendments are made in the Rules and Regulations of a society registered under Societies Registeration Act 1860 in Delhi and proper procedures are adopted by the Governing Body to approve such amenedments in the Gen. Body and members and also all proper procedures are adopted while filing of such documents with the Registrar of Societies,
1. Does this amendment will need the approval of the regsitrar or not if such an approval is not for change of name.

Unless proposed amendments are in conflict with Act or rules framed there under,the registrar is bound to accept them.

The ques. is whether submitting of the prescribed documents with the registrar is enough u/s 12 of the Societies Registration Act. or does he gives approval to the amendments.

The Society is regd. in Delhi and does
any approval required for change of name.

yes!If the proposed name is identical with that by which any other society has been registered or resembles such name which is likely to deceive the public or the member of society, such name may be avoided.

Approval is not required in the given facts as general house of the society is competent to do so.
