Pepper spray for self protection .......

I wanted to know if Selling, buying, keeping and using Pepper/Chilli Spray to protect ourselves legal in ALL India ?

Does it comes into Arms act eventhough its no-explosive.

Yes , it is very much legal and in self defence even using a dagger is legal let alone pepper spray.
