has rhe borrower issued you a cheque ? if he has you cn apresent the said cheque after 31st December too . banks will honour the said cheques for some time . you can also ask borrower to issue you new CTC complaint cheque

yes he issued me a cheque..so if i get the cheque bounced after 31st dec will the bank accept it or my cheque is useless after that date.and i cant recover my amount by court case.

please read my reply . banks want seamless transaction . hence old cheques issued will be honoured by banks. if cheque is dishonoured then you can file complaint under section 138 NI

thanks raj kumar ji...Thanks for your opinion as i was worried that i would not be able to recover my amount after 31st december with section 138 complaint due to the cheque without ctc standards.

You can very well recover your money even by filing the suit for recovery on the basis of said cheque and this shall remain reserved even after 31st December 2012.
