Necessity of filing affidavits when more than one defendants

Sir,
When there are more than one defendant then whose affidavit is to be filed along with written statement.
I mean, Whether every defendant's affidavit or anyone's affidavit?

every defendant must file his separate WS.

no need to file affidavit with WS.

whosoever wants to defend has to come with affidavit.

When a case has been filed against few people,levelling charges against them, then all of them should individually submit written objection to the charges levelled & all such individual written objections should be supported by related affidavits of the individuals. In short, whoever is submitting the written reply, should submit the affidavit.
