Citation for delay in condonation

dear expert,
can any body provide me any citation for condonation of delay in cheque bouncing case as i have filed a case under sec 138 of N.I act and also filed a application for condonation of delay and received a say of the same from the oopposite party for the strong argument i need a citation cane any body provide me the same there isa 8 days delay in my matter,
