Superannuation

(Querist) 02 August 2012 This query is : Resolved
sir pls let me know total yrs of service reqd for superann. and purpose of EPS in joining formality in company

Superannuation is the maximum age of employee, as fixed by your company/organisation, to retire him from service. There is no question how many years of service he renders up to the age of his superannuation.

First part of query - As Mr.Dhingra opined, it is the age of retirement fixed by organisation. It may differ from one organisation to another. It is the age of the employee, not the number of years of service of the employee. Relating to second part, your query is not clear.

Sorry sir, but i meant when an emplye join co., mgt makes him fill form 2 and form 2 revised, i think for pf declaration, i have heard that after some time epf gets converted into eps

What do you understand by the term "eps" and how your present query is linked to superannuation?
prabhakar singh (Expert) 05 August 2012
the term "eps"?
is it earning per share ?
Guest (Expert) 05 August 2012
Prabhakar ji, I wanted to know what the querist understands by the term "eps", as he seems to be putting questions aimlessly when even a person with commonsense can understand well that "epf" has no cencern with the "earning per share" on the capital of a company.

Employees Pension Scheme// Emp Provident Fund Scheme...

Ultimately employees contribution till resign/ retirement. added with equal amt by Govt & Employer is calculated to pay fixed super annuation.

Min 7 yrs service to my knowledge[ I am not sure on it -Lbr laws , need to refer it]

Dhingra ji!
as you rightly found query aimless,i replied it in humor.i knew earning per share does not have to do any thing with labor/employee as that is concerned with investors and shareholders.
