Cancel of land sale agreement

i had made an agreement for my family property ,( which is owned me ,brother & mother) with a person. in the agreement it was said to pay half of the full amount by 3 months. they havn't fullfilled the agreement . what is the proceedure to cancel the agreement

if you have registered earlier agreement then you can cancel otherwise no need, if not registered then no need to registered.

Return the token amount first by depositing cheque in his a/c. Keep photocopy of of the same with you. And let him send the notice go in defensive mode.

Agree with the Experts opinion..If any deduction clause in the agreement for not paid the amount, you can also deduct the mentioned amount for not complying the agreement. After that you can send a notice to terminate the agreement for not paid the full amount with in the stipulated time.
