plz give me reply of this case

the owner of the house is a lady n she have to sale her house but she is not able to go to the place of house therefore he want to appoit power of attoney to her son to do all the needful for the sale of house
than what exactly the legal procedure to aapoint power of attorney

AND FROM WHERE it should be registered

The GPA can be registered at the place where it is executed. For example, if a person wants to sell his property situate at Delhi and executes a GPA at Nagpur, the GPA can be registered at Nagpur.

power of attorney has to be on a stamp paper, and it should be registered, stamp duty will depend on the market value, if it is executed within the family there is concession under the stamp Act. if you pay the duty on market value, it will be adjusted at the time of executing the sale deed.
