Share transfer fees in co-op society

What should be the share transfer fees as per Maharashtra Co-op Hsg Society Bye Laws when the flat is transferred to real brother?
The year of transfer is 1988.

was it by gift or sale?

if flat is transferred to close relation then it is exempt from transfer charges .

This varies from place to place in Mumbai itself. That is it is discretionary power of the Society in which you stay to adopt the transfer charges and other charges like maintenance, security water charges etc., etc. But for all this there is a limit and should not be exorbitant also and as per M C Hsc Scty Laws. And also that within the family when he is your real brother there should not be any transfer fee but still if the society insists it should be very meager as it is within the family. Where and which location are you located in Mumbai . please refer to and tell us we would tell the exact .

mAY BE ,AS MUMBAI IS BIG CITY.EVEN ITS MOHALLA IS BIGGER THAN TOWNS.
