What are the punishment of a landlord not reported to the Corporation about tenant

It is mandatory now for landlords to inform police about the new tenant so that his anticidants may be got verified o avoid any untoward incident at later stage. Only cash punishment (minor) may be awarded

the objective is to cross check the antecedents of the tenant . generally at least in mumbai police verification is necessary . corporation is to be informed and if you have not informed them earlier you cna do so now .

Not necessary unless mandatory in the local Corporation law.
