UGC test for Law

Sir,
As far i know law subject is a professional course in all over India then why the people who did Master of law and take a choice to join as a lecturer they have to write the UGC NET and SET exams is it necessary for a professional course like law rather than no other courses like ME and MBBS have this kind of test

The policy matters are decided by UGC and a representation can be made to it not to insert this clause for this class of teachers, if you deem fit.

Yes. A master degree person who hold his degree in medical science he can't take class to law students. So the law education need professors from who are having master degree in law. Thats why..
