Is doctors certificate a mandatory requirement while making a will???
PALNITKAR V.V. (Expert) 14 June 2011
It is not mandatory. But it is desirable because it assures that the maker of the will was in a sound state of mental and physical health.

Thanks Mr.palnitkar v v for your reply..Does that mean it can be useful in future in case a dispute arises else that is fine if there is no certificate....
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 14 June 2011
No, it is not required.

This query though is a repeated one.
PALNITKAR V.V. (Expert) 15 June 2011
Medical certificate would be useful if dispute about the mental or physical health of the maker of the will arises in future.
prabhakar singh (Expert) 15 June 2011
Mr.Palnitkar v v is right.
Ravikant Soni (Expert) 15 June 2011
