by the mistake(information which is not filled by advocate in sale tax form) of my clint advocate in tax matter got 7lakhs penalty now can my client take action against his advocate and can i go in consumer forum. plz suggest me the remeady . thanks

The advocates prepare a pleadings on the instruction of his clients. The party has singing every page of plaint. The advocate is only represent him before the court. If the advocate make a mistake, the party is also responsible for the said mistake.
The advocate is not come under the consumer protection act. You have to take care about the pleadings. It is also negligence on part of you. You have no any way to get remedy against your advocate.
You have to take precaution at the time of engaging the advocate and signing the pleadings

Advocate can be held responsible for misconduct only. For mistake, the client himself is responsible, as advocate acts on his instruction and directions.

You can go in for appeal, instead of blaming the advocate.
Advocates also human beings, they also commit mistakes.
But, you have not made it very clear what is the mistake.
