Sir,
I having land in two village in the dist of lathehar Jharkhand and i belongs to scheduled caste(SC) according to one land revenue paper(katiyan) and i did my schooling and collage under SC category but after getting certified copy of other village land revenue paper(katiyan), I find that I belongs to scheduled Tribe(ST)according to another land paper(Katiyan).So can I make caste certificate of ST which i able to know after getting another copy of katiyan and want to apply for Govt. Job but I am not residing there since form my grandfather time. I just want to know that can I claim for ST category and what will happen in verification occur.
Plesae, sir suggest me I am in great dilemma.

It is bad to knowingly obtain a false certificate, if you are not residing that place since the time of your grand father. If this fact comes to light at the time of verification, you shall have to suffer criminal and civil consequences attached thereto.

It is not a false evidence sir my grandfather was living there and according to sec. 20 of people act s “Ordinarily resident” includes (a) a person who is away from his place of residence temporarily, (b) a person who is away from his residence because of service qualification (which means he is a member of the armed forces or an employee of the Government of India who is posted outside the country). And most important we just change the village but our block/Tehsil police station dist are same so how can I suppose to not "ordinary resides" there.
I just get the certified copy of Katiyan during my schooling that why i didn’t change my category but
Now I want to correct and apply for job against ST category.
Can It’s is illegal sir. I just going through right process my father did’nt correct it that why my family member didn’t have ST certificate but my other relative residing there come under ST category.
I want to correct my caste certificate suggest me legal process. I thankful you always sir.....

There is District Level as well as State Vigilance committee in all States which will verify and investigate community/caste certificates. If you are found to be getting false certificate, they will initiate proceedings against you.

Sir,
I am not calming for false certificate I am calming on the basis of caste mention on the land paper(Katiyan) of other village and as per people act mention above why not I claim ageist it.
Sir, I not clear about where is the problem ...so sir please explain me why I can’t claim ageist it but most of caste member in that village enjoying the benefit of it.
Only my caste change on the basis of changing the village and not residing there but we have raiyati land that village too. Please sir explains me.......why and why not?

Dear Anonymous,
I think you want to change your community SC to ST.
You can apply with the documentary evidences to the VAO or Tashildar. They will conduct enquiry, if necessary they will call you for the enquiry.
If every thing is clear, you will get the ST community certificate.
