yes
s.subramanian (Expert) 09 December 2010
I disagree. The Supreme Court of India has clearly laid down that a POA cannot depose on behalf of the principal.
Devajyoti Barman (Expert) 12 December 2010
The supreme court has only held that the attorney can not sepose on behalf of the pricipal iif on the subject the attorney has no personal knowledge. The supreme court has not held that in all cases the attorney can not depose.
