my brother in law has extramarital affairs with a girl my sister is very upset about this so she want to move a divorce petiton but before that we want to punish both my brother in law and his lady legally ...what should we do please suggest

You can neither punish your brother in law nor that lady legally. A man can be punished for adultry, but the complaint should be filed by the husband of his girl friend. Also a woman cannot be punished for the offence of adultry. So, the only remedy against him is to file for divorce on the ground of adultry.

I agree with my friend archana. Don't forget one thing.. If your sister filed her divorce petition on the grounds of adultry mean, the burden of proof is your sister's..
