Service tax

(Querist) 17 April 2012 This query is : Resolved 
Respected Sir,

Whether the dealer is doing the job work ( Only Labour Charges ) for Manufacturing the Bidis, the same job work or Labour charges for that Service Tax is applicable or not ?

Kindly advice for the same.

I think Bidies are exempt from all taxes. Which should not be.

It is liable to srvice tax

Builder are bound to collect service tax from end consumer and to pay it to government.
