Does below statement holds true . "On partition the ancestral property comes into the hands of individual persons/coparceners, then it has to be treated as a separate property and such a person shall be entitled to dispose of the Coparcenery property treating it to be his separate property."

Yes , character and nature of ancestral property changes on happening of duly partition of property and after the partition, property will be treated as self acquired property.

I endorse the view of the experts above. Once the property is divided by partition then the shareholder who acquires his share shall become an absolute owner of this property which will be termed as his self acquired property thereafter
