Now the criminal acts done through the medium of internet comes under the purview of relevant provisions of The IT Act along with IPC. You should lodge a complaint before the Cell for Cyber Crime immediately stating the acts committed.

This is an employment scam in which the fraudster in guise of offering employment via email or genuine looking website, demand money from the job aspirants. I suppose the offer has been send to you via email. Please save the relevant emails along with its header and footer containing the IP address of the host from which the alleged email offering fake email was sent. An offence under Section 420 IPC read with Section 66D IT Act is made out. Get your FIR registered with the cyber crime cell.

All experts have proceeded presuming that the communication has been made over internet and hence termed it as cyber crime. On carefully going through the question, it is mentioned as 'communicated' which does not necessarily mean through e-mail. It is also stated in the question that 'they kept on demanding money', here also it is not mentioned that it is through e-mail.
Keeping in view the generality of the question, offence can be classified as cheating and criminal breach of trust (under IPC).
But, jurisdiction does not fall within India as the cheating has taken place at Phillipines. Bringing the culprit to India is remote.
File a complaint in the police station where you reside and pray god.

I think India does have extradiation treaty with country Philipinnes hence to bring offender to book is remote.

As clear in the heading of the question which reads as “Cheating Done Thru Internet by company Abroadâ€, I have made a presumption that the fraudsters might have approached the querist via email. Further, presuming that cheating happened via internet even if committed at Phillipines involves the computer of the querist at India and by virtue of Section 1 (2) r/w Section 75 (2) of the Information Technology Act, 2000 which provides that IT Act applies also to any offence thereunder committed outside India by any person if the act or conduct constituting the offence involves a computer, computer system or computer network located in India. Thus, the Indian police have jurisdiction in this cyber crime case though committed outside India involving a computer located in India.
