Any suggestion depends upon the terms of your appointment. Are you covered by the same service rules as in the case of regular employee? Anyhow, an election duty is an opportunity to handle a new responsibility and to learn and understand many a new things.

while on election duty you are relieved from all govt duties you discharge.

Obstruction by Sr Officers from election duty is a criminal offence as it is also a criminal offence on your part to avid election duty in any manner.

Better submit a complaint to Distt Election Officer.
