A person on contract basis while working in govt. Dept. Has misappropriated govt. Money. However the entire amount is being recovered from him and he is being terminated as he was on a contract. Can we file a criminal case against him now. Ifnso under what section. Pl inform

Anonymous persons are not recognised by law for filing any case. However, in what capacity you will file a criminal case against him?

Your introduction as a mere Government servant has no relevant for reply to your question. Your status in the Government department is relevant to know about your competence to file criminal case.
Also please clarify:
1) How much amount was involved?
2) Was the matter reported to police? If so, what is the outcome of that, and if not, any reason for not reporting the matter to police?
