I want minor spell correction in surname in child birth certificate

Visit the issuing office, complete the formality (application, affidavit, copy of birth certificate etc.) required by them and proceed.

Approach the local muncipal office or local body and find the prescribed procedure to be followed for correction of spelling mistake, since there is a prescribed procedure for the same.
