Name problem 10th certificate

Hi,

My wife has got name in 10th certificate as KM GEETA RANI

When we approached marriage registration they said that they will consider GEETA RANI as KM is not in "bolne ka naam".

Then aadhaar card/pan card/voter id have got GEETA RANI

Now Can anyone help me will it have any issue in getting passport with name GEETA RANI ?

A name is a matter of personal choice and beyond the ambit of executive or ministerial diktats.

It is custom to use Miss / mrs/ mr/ shri / Km.(Kumari) etc. before actual name and it would not create problem if Km is used before name.

What is the name in birth certificate ?
