Can i claim on my mother's property?

My name is Ajin and married (habeas corpus @ High Court of kerala). After suicide of my Father my Mother re -marriage. Now, my mother was owner of the house. Now my Mother neglected me. She supports my step Father family too (He is a drunguad and smoker). My step Father sold out my mother's jewellery and valuable properties too . Can I claim on my mother's property and jewellery, because the property document was on my mother's name.

Why? Can i claim on my mother's property? my Mother re -marriage is do not legally. Do not registered panchayath, muncipality or any other Legal way. He is a loser.

1. You have no forced share in self acquired estate of your biological mother. If property was self acquired of your mother/registered in her name she can give it to anyone in her life time.


2. If your father committed suicide and did not leave any WILL then you have equal share in your father’s estate.

A women's property is her absolute property irrespective of whatsoever nature in which she has come in possession of the property.
you cannot claim the property which is standing in the name of your mother.

You have no claim till your mother is alive and does not dispose off bequeath the property in her life time.
