Family membership certificate

Hi,
We have land in Kerala and we want to sell it now.Our parents died and one advocate requested us to produce Family membership certificate.We have ration card,Father govt:id,death certificate of parents and affidavit(all are from Mumbai).So how to get a family membership certificate in Kerala.

In many states it is issued by local tehsildar. You can consult local lawyer.

Presumably family member ship certificate in mumbai called heir certificate which is obtained from Tahasildar. U may do so from concerned authority in your state
