Appeal to president against SC

Hi Everybody,

Plz tell me is there any case in which Supreme Court gives a punishment to be hanged out to a person and the person appealed to president to forgive him (means not completely, but relief from hanged out) and he succeeded in it !!

Yes. There are various mercy petitions wherein the accused per granted pardon by President and the punishment of such persons was reduced from death to life imprisonment

Apart fro mercy petition approach Amnesty International Inia, that fights against death penalty from International level through collective efforts. you can not fight alone in such matters.
