Defamation suit

Respected Members,

My younger brother's wife has filed a false case u/s 498a against my family. She has accused my younger brother , my elder brother, my parents , my sisters and my self.
Its a totally misuse of power and a false case. Nothing written in FIR is correct. We have enough evidence to support this.

Can I file defamation case against my younger brother's wife despite the ongoing 498a case is pending and the trial is yet to begin.
