What difference between Statement under crpc 161 & 202.

I know 161 is statement given by PW in police what is 202 statement i am confused because my friend enquired from me about 202 Statement. neither he could make me understand wht is 202 nor i could get wht he mean by 202.
As he is friend of mine & was discussing my 498A & 406 case
