As a Muslim person can marry more than one wife, is an muslim lady permitted to do so, if so can the first husband take any objection
J K Agrawal (Expert) 01 April 2014
A muslim woman can not marry with 2 persons at at time.

It may be surprising but in my personal opinion A Muslim Man even can not marry with more than one wife. The theory that a muslim man can have 4 wives at a time is not supported by Holy Koran Shariff itself.

He can have up to 4 wives but there are so many restrictions and conditions when he should marry with second one.

A muslim person can have more than one wife, while a muslim woman can not have more than one husband at one time, all subject to their personal law.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 02 April 2014
Plurality of husband by a muslim woman is illegal as per muslim personal law. A muslim woman cannot marry another man during subsistence of her previous marriage and the subsequent marriage is null and void in law.
