Sir,
I have a cousin ( Hindu) of mine who is married to a Muslim. She is still a Hindu and has not converted to Islam. She was married in 2000 and has a daughter. She had a registered marriage in India. They are currently in UAE and and the husband had been living separately on some pretext of job etc.
It has come to know recently that the husband had been cheating on my cousin, as he had again got married to another Hindu Girl in UAE and has a son of almost 2 years.
My cousin now wants to have divorce from him and wants to bring up her daughter herself as she does not believe this person. Also let us know the legal provision that one can initiate on this person as he has married another Hindu girl,( it is not known whether the second wife is aware of the first marriage or not)and had extracted money from cousins brother on some pretext of some problem from 2005 to 2010 or so.
My cousin is also working in UAE currently.
Please advice as to what legal action can be initiated against this person.

file for divorce . you are entitled to maintenance . if marriage was solemnised under Special marriage Act your husband could not during subsistence f earlier marriage marry again . you can file case of bigamy against him also
