Long cause suit

Dear All,

we filed summary suit for defe.1 to 5 and we got order against deg.1 and def.2 to 5 matter is now will be decided on basis of evidence that means it have beome long cause suit.

query :-

1) please suggest when the summary suit becomes long cause suit ?

after service of sum. for judgement, the def. appears and if ask for leave to defend which if granted the suit will be decided on the basis of evidence. See O.37 of CPC

When leave to defend is grated to defendant,summary suit becomes a ordinary suit and decidea after taking evidence of both the parties.
