'A' moved a application under RTI to 'B' who is a PIO in a office. After 7 days of receiving said application, 'B' send a letter to 'A' for deposit of Rs. 2540/- as cost of information sought by 'A'. 'A' did not deposit any amount but sent a letter to 'B' and said to give an affidavit regarding the claiming of said fee. Now what should 'B' do ?

B is not required to submit any affidavit fir that purpose. if A do not deposit the required fee within 7 days of receipt of demanded fee, his application shall stand dismissed automatically. B is not required to initiate any action now.
