Fathers name mistake in birth certificate

Hi,

My name was wrongly mentioned in the Birth Certificate of my child, how can I rectify this.

Correct Name is:
Bandi Prashanth Kumar

Which is Mentioned is:
Bandi Prashanth Kumar N

they have included "N" in the last, it is purely their mistake, what should I do now?

File an application before the registrar of birth to rectify the mistake.
