can an amicus curiae advocate cross-examine in divorce case in family court?

which states have made rules for allowing legal representation other than amicus curiae advocate in family court?

No amicus curie is required to be appointed in family courts so question of his cross-examination do not arise otherwise also no advocate other than appointed by parties have got right to intervene in legal proceedings directly.
