Hello, Legal experts
After the Demise of my grandmother we found a 30 year old registered GPA dated 23 September 1981 with thumb impression of both the parties now we don't now how to proceed with it legally since both the parties are no more existing and also the property in question is still vacant kindly suggest us for legally acquiring the property
thank you for the reply,
still the EC and BBMP KATHA stands in the name of my grandmother as well we have approached one of the landlords family member to register the property in our name they are demanding 20 % of property value
will this process of acquiring by paying 20 % of the property cost holds good legally ?

Now, GPA have no value. you can't do from it. Come with full facts of the property to get answer.

GPA has now ceased to have any effect in law.
When property is in name of your grand father let his heirs apply for mutation and watch with what objections land lord comes in, evaluating the same, either agree or disagree, without knowing the impact of entries none can advise hence engage a local revenue lawyer, and discuss with him and proceed ahead.
