Complaint against service provider/company

As per consumer protection act, can we claim against a company or brand. e.g. AC purchased and didnot work well as per the gaurantee/waranty given.If yes what actions can be taken and what is the monetary fine.?

yes you can file a complaint against such company before the consumer form. keep one thing if u r nt a lawyer in complaint you made party to dealer/seller from whom you purchased and company.
consumer form award monetary fine as per your claim.

You can take action also received award. Before that you are required to check whether you make complain of AC to Dealer. if not, first make complaint. After that you can lodge complain in the consumer form on unsatisfactory work by dealer.
