Whether a retired judge or registrar can practice in the same court where he or she was posted and served ?
R.Ramachandran (Expert) 10 September 2011
No. They cannot do so. If any one is doing, what is the bar association doing to stop such practice.

I wanted to know related provision. I tried but failed.
Dineshwar Singh Kaushik (Expert) 10 September 2011
Only the retired Judges from Hon'ble High Court could not practice in the same Court. But the judges & registrars retired from lower Courts can do practice in the Courts from where they retire.
Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 10 September 2011
You can see Article 220 of Indian Constitution.

No person who, after the commencement of
this Constitution, has held office as a permanent Judge of a High Court shall plead or act in any court or before any
authority in India except the Supreme Court and the other High Courts
