Apart from question that a married daughter eligibile for the compassionate appointment or not,an other important question would arise that what Solace is to be given after 18 years of death specially when deceased now have no dependent at all as it is a kind of mercy and not right that state considers in these matters.

A agree with experts. After 18 years of death of Govt no case of compassionate appointment is made out specially when it was not claimed by his wife and only son.

Providing compassionate appointment is not a right. If there is no earning family member in the family of deceased employee and also the family is not supported by any other income, then compassionate appointment will be provided. It will be provided as a matter of financial relief to the family.

Application for Compassionate ground appointments has to be given within three years from the date of death.
Married daughter is not eligible for compassionate ground appointments.
