Though being secular State, Governments do not intervene in change of religion as it is a personal faith of a citizen, however, various social organizations do reward and honour such persons as per their faith.

Yes. Am agree with experts. Apart from govt some private social org's are honouring the inter religious marriage. Am agree with mr.makkad

Ministry of WCW--- have taken this effort and it is prevalent in Himachal Pradesh and Delhi -- Rs 50,000/- which is given in parts -- 25,000 on the date of registration of marriage and balance in 5th year.
