There is no word "Route permit" in the M.V. Act but the Apex Court has dealt with "Route permit" from where the Apex Court has taken this word.AIR 2004 SC 4882; 2009ACJ437. Plz reply

In which judgement is it taken by the SC? If you can send the citation, something can be said as to the context in which the said term is used.

Dear Member,
this word is commonly used by the transport who run the buses for transportation. Route Permit means to ply the buses in certain areas permission is required by RTO, so it is known as route permit.
