Redevelopment Problems

After our redevelopment done, our builder is denying to leave the society. he has set up his office in new building (not rehab building). he even not showing us any papers of tax paid, OC work or any legal paper. on top of same he treathens us for gundas. he even uses our water for his new building without any permission from MHADA. he uses our POA wherever needed. shortly we want to throw this builder our of our society & want to cut all the transaction / connection with him . we are deep in soup. please help.

issue legal notice to builder . engage a local lawyer and file complaint against the builder

Yes. You can issue a legal notice to the builder with to call upon to hand over the possession.. If he failed with in mentioned period mean you can proceed as per law.

Thanks for sharing your knwldge. We tried to give him the letter asking for details & other requirements, but he refuses to give any acknowledge to our letter. hence, we are not able to collect any evidence on him. Secondly, is there any way that we can find out how much FSI he has used + what all approval he has requested from govt. body. This will help us to know our current stand. We tried to revoke a POA but he argued that he is in process of optaining Occupency certi. where can we find that he has applied for OC or not? is there any dues pending from that can create a problem for us in future. Thnx in adv for your suggestions.

1) send letter by registered post AD .
2)you can make an application to local authorityunder RTI to find out whether building plans have been sanctioned etc
