the husband filed a divorce petition on the ground of cruelty. the wife of petitioner committed suicide three time in her house.she is poring kerosine oil on her body and set fir but could not success.

poring of kerocine oil amounts to threatening as well as sign of cruelty that depends upon the facts and circumstances of the case.

Off course the ground of cruelty will sustain in the present context.Threatening to commit suicide may give the petitioner ample mental agony as to effect his health both physically as well as mentally and under such circumstances the petitioner can't reasonably be expected to live with the respondent. There is also a judgement to this effect.
