Mahammedan Girl who is not major absconded to maay a hindu boy.

Age of Majority under mahammedan law is 09 year.

That is regarding giving consent to marriage. For offense of kidnapping the provisions of IPC rules over that and hence a boy may be apprehended for kidnapping a girl if she is below 18 years old even if they got married with each other.

Sir,

When both girl and boy are muslims ....both run away ....and did not married.

Age of Majority under mahammedan law is 09 year for a girl.

Now whether Sections of Kidnapping etc of IPC can be evoked by Police against the boy?
