I have recently misplaced my Voter' Card which carries my old house which has been sold in the meantime. Unfortunately I am not having the xerox of my Voters' Card. For change of Address I am required to provide the Particulrs of my Part Numbers, Ward No, Constituently Assemly No. to the Election Commissioner's office as well for lodging GD with my P.S about lost of my card. Kindly advice which allow me to to make changes in address and also for Lodging GD.Your reply at the earliest will be appreciated

Since you have already lost the ID card the department should not ask for more than the available documents and the copy of GD.

File a police complaint and apply for the duplicate voter ID by giving your particulars

Police complaint is not necessary. File an application for re issue of the voter ID. You can download the form from the chief election commissions website of your state. If you are in TN use the following website: http://ceotamilnadu.nic.in/. You can also see the rules for getting the duplicate copy any any other voter ID related queries.

Even otherwise there is routine house to house to registration , find out the program and enroll , it your name is not any where else it will be done on spot. If computer records show your name some where apply for correction. No problem , it is easy.
