I Have An unaided degree College no fund/grant is received to the college now
the query is
1 Is is a public Authority within the meaning of Sec 2 (h)of RTI act 2005.

2 Am I bound to provide any information sought from a stranger.

I differ from the learned members. As your college would be affiliated with university and under the control of that university, UGC and other govt. authorities it comes under purview of RTI. Please seniors correct me.

Mr.Arvind, This college does not come under the RTI Act. But the university to which the college is affiliated is bound to reveal any information about this college under the RTI Act.

To get any information about this college apply to the University not the college.
