How to prove contents of original public document;because presumption is in respect of certified copy.

You have to take steps for summoning the original of the document from the appropriate authorities of the REgistration Department.

A certified copy of public document is issued after proper procedure laid down under Section 76 of the evidence Act and the said section gives an presumption that the contents of certified copy are same and true as the original copy as such the certified copy is sufficient to prove contents of original public document

Public document need not be produced in original. Certified copy is sufficient. This is the exception to the general rule of proving document by primary evidence.

Yes, secondary evidence is permissible for the public document.
