Term Bylaws is a very generic term and can even apply to rules framed for Trade Unions or Associations where there is no need for approval by Assembly or Parliament. General Council is empowered to frame or amend bylaws.

Bye- laws are usually rules made in order to cover certain exigencies as broadly provided by an Act.
